Only a direct copy of a Horch House master production tape gives you the security of sitting in the sound engineer's chair. We call this experience truth in sound!

You want to be sure that you have purchased a Horch House master tape copy ?

To make identification easier for you, we have developed the Horch House identification sticker.

  1. Make sure that your web browser is on the following website: https://www.horchhouse.com/ident

  2. Each tape is packaged in a red archive box with Horch House embossing on the front

  3. The metal reel of the first tape is labelled with the Horch House identification sticker. You will find the serial number of your master tape copy on this identification sticker.

  4. You will find the credit page in the print documents for your master tape copy. On this credit page you will find the identical Horch House identification sticker with the same serial number.

Revox | Horch House Packaging System

The new Horch House packaging system is a further development of our previous version, and we had set ourselves the following goals:

  • Small dimensions so that it fits well on a vinyl shelf

  • Optimum protection of the valuable tapes

  • Authenticity check with hologram and QR code

  • No microclimate possible

  • All formats in one system (NAB, Trident, AEG)

The result is a beautiful Revox | Horch House slipcase in combination with the Revox | Horch House tape archive system. The information material is housed in a high-quality folder, giving it an unrivalled home.

  • User-friendly : Grip on the bottom of the container helps to remove the case from the slipcase. 

  • Chemically inert polypropylene; no addition or substitution. STIL products are considered non-hazardous according to OSHA (1910.1200) and meet REACH European standard. Answering to the standards drawn by ANSI, AIIN or SMPTE. STIL containers have the best IZOD IMPACT (robust & sturdy) in the industry. 

  • They cannot be water soaked; Water and dust are lazy, so they won’t find their way up inside our Audio case. Protects the reel from water and dust.

  • Improve features that keep your reel secure from deformation; A stabilizing system, stands in an upright position for better storage - Cores for universal fitting of all audio reels.
